William E. Clements is a lifelong resident of Hamilton County, Ohio having attended Sycamore Schools. He is married and has three children. He currently resides in Symmes Township.

After high school, Mr. Clements attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from which he obtained a BA degree, graduating with honors in 1976. While attending Miami University, Mr. Clements was awarded membership in Phi Beta Kappa and participated in the Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

Mr. Clements obtained his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law where he won awards for advocacy as part of the Moot Court Program. He graduated in 1979.

Mr. Clements is licensed (since 1979) to practice before all Ohio courts and agencies, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Hamilton County Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Clements served on the Executive Committee of the Workers Compensation Section of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers. He also serves the Cincinnati Bar Association as a member of the Grievance Committee and Workers Compensation Committee. He is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Workers' Compensation Specialist in Ohio. He is "AV" rated by the Martindale Hubbell Directory. He has lectured on various topics for the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Cincinnati Bar Association. He has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and Ohio Super Lawyers.

An important part of Mr. Clements' practice involves the handling of workers compensation cases. In this capacity, he has successfully represented injured workers in several landmark and often cited Ohio Supreme Court cases, notably Blankenship v. Cincinnati Milacron Chemicals, Inc., which established an injured workers right to sue his employer for an intentionally inflicted injury. He also established rigid standards, which the Industrial Commission must follow in preparing awards and orders, in State ex rel. Noll v Industrial Commission. Some have stated that Noll is the most cited workers compensation case in Ohio courts.

Other representative cases handled by Mr. Clements include: State ex rel. Gobich v. Indus. Comm. (2004) 103 Ohio St. 3d 128; State ex rel. Luther v. Ford Motor Co. 2006 Ohio App. LEXIS 103; State ex rel. Feick v. Wesley Cmty. Services 2005 Ohio App. LEXIS 3639; State ex rel. Caudill v. Indus. Comm. 2002 Ohio App. LEXIS 3103; Jones v. Multi-Color Corp. (1995) 108 Ohio App. 3d 388.

Mr. Clements' practice emphasizes workers compensation matters and the handling of personal injury cases. Much of his time is spent in court or attending hearings before the Industrial Commission. He also handles probate matters.
